The Big Half is one of London’s most iconic running events – a 13.1-mile race that celebrates community and showcases the city’s famous landmarks. Taking place on Sunday 7th September 2025, it brings together thousands of runners of all ages and abilities.

This year, a dedicated team of runners are taking on The Big Half in support of Groundswell – raising vital funds to help people move on from homelessness.

Groundswell is unique: our work is led by people who have experienced homelessness themselves. Every donation raised through The Big Half helps fund our peer-led projects, improve access to healthcare, and create Stronger Voices, Healthier Lives and Better Futures.
